Climate Change Theatre Action sul Tagliamento

Climate Change Theatre Action propone una serie di letture e spettacoli di brevi opere teatrali scritte da oltre 50 drammaturghi di tutto il mondo sul tema del cambiamento climatico, in coincidenza con l’incontro delle Nazioni Unite (Cop26) in merito al Green New Deal. Art Aia – Creatives / In / Residence propone assieme al Circolo Legambiente “Fabiano Grizzo” di Pordenone un evento sulle rive del Tagliamento, il re dei fiumi alpini, utilizzando esclusivamente “energia pulita” grazie al sostegno della ditta la casa del sole, specializzata in pannelli solari e energie alternative. Un momento rivolto alla comunità´territoriale che prevede una serie di interventi sulla tematica ambientale a cura di svariati partners, come appunto Legambiente Pordenone, Edoardo Marcon, titolare della ditta la casa del sole e tanti altri. Per far fronte alle spese produttive e´ stata lanciata una raccolta fondi su Produzioni dal Basso – prima piattaforma di crowdfunding e social innovation – in collaborazione con NaturaSì.

Ore 15 .30 Apertura dell’evento con discorso introduttivo del Sindaco di Morsano al Tagliamento presso la Fornace di San Paolo.

Ore 16.00 Intervento di Legambiente Pordenone e altri esperti sul tema dei Cambiamenti Climatici presso la Fornace di San Paolo.

Ore 17.00 Intervento di un rappresentate di NaturaSi presso la Fornace di San Paolo.

Ore 17.15 Intervento di Edoardo Marcon, titolare della Casa del Sole, sul tema delle energie rinnovabili e pannelli solari presso la Fornace di San Paolo.

Ore 17.30 Passeggiata sonora

Ore 18.00 “ When” scritto da Wren Bryan con Clelia Delponte e Viviana Piccolo, diretto da Giovanni Morassutti presso il prato delle sculture in prossimita delle rive del Fiume Tagliamento.

Ore 18.30 Concerto a cura di Sexto ‘Nplugged di Intermission, un progetto ambient / downtempo che combina musica e immagini in relazione allo spazio presso il prato delle sculture in prossimita delle rive del Fiume Tagliamento.

Ore 19.00 Aperitivo con vino biologico presso il prato delle sculture in prossimita delle rive del Fiume Tagliamento.

CLIMATE CHANGE THEATRE ACTION was originally founded by Elaine Ávila, Chantal Bilodeau, Roberta Levitow, and Caridad Svich following a model pioneered by NoPassport Theatre Alliance. It has since evolved into a U.S.-Canada collaboration between The Arctic Cycle and the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts.

The Arctic Cycle uses storytelling and live performance to foster dialogue about our global climate crisis, create an empowering vision of the future, and inspire people to take action. Operating on the principle that complex problems must be addressed through collaborative efforts, we work with artists across disciplines and geographic borders, solicit input from earth and social scientists, and actively seek community and educational partners.

The Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts (CSPA) views sustainability as the intersection of environmental balance, social equity, economic stability and a strengthened cultural infrastructure. Seeing itself as evolved out of the principles of the 1987 Brundtland Report and 1992 Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit, the CSPA aligns itself with the policies of Agenda 21 for Culture as a resource to artists and art organizations.

Art Aia – Creatives / In / Residence proposes a series of readings and performances of short plays written by playwrights from around the world on the theme of climate change and the Green New Deal. A project that invites local communities to take action and to raise awareness of the climate emergency. As been said by Art Aia’s founder Giovanni Morassutti :

“At the moment, I am working on an international theater initiative that reflects my commitment to the environment. I intend to raise awareness about climate change and the Green New Deal by organizing an event on the banks of the Tagliamento River, symbolizing its authenticity as a morphologically intact river. I had already collaborated with the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts on the Ate – Residency in Sustainable practices that, thanks to Google Arts & Culture, we have presented to an international audience. I hope that these initiatives will raise awareness of global warming and climate change. I believe that theater, like all the arts, has the task of raising public awareness of such urgent issues.”
